porsche, a german supermarket manufacturer , is headquartered in stuttgart, germany, dating to 1931 . the founder is Ferdinand Porsche 





Porsche was the first company not to manufacture cars under its own name. Instead, it produced cars and provided advice for other car companies.

Porshe was commissioned by the German company Volkswagen to develop a car that could be used by the public. The car they produced was the Volkswagen Beetle, one of the most successful cars in car history.

In 1939, the Porsche 64 was made using Volkswagen Beetle accessories. With the end of World War II in 1945, the Volkswagen factory came under British control. Ferdinand, the company's chief executive, was fired and sentenced to 20 months in prison on war crimes charges.
Porsche 356 Meanwhile, his son Ferry Porsche planned to build a car under the Porche name. The Porche 356 was produced as a result. This is considered by many to be their first design. Volkswagen used parts to make this car and was the first roadster car to be named Porsche.




It was during this time that Porsche created its logo under the theme "Coat of Arms of the Free People's State". When Ferdinand Porsche died of a heart attack in 1951, his son Ferry Porsche took over the ownership of the company.

Porsche 550 Spyder In 1953, they launched the Porsche 550 Spyder, their most popular car. It became the most successful car in the automotive industry. Three years later, Porsche celebrated its 25th anniversary by launching its 10,000th production car.

In 1961, Porsche unveiled the Porsche 911, a new car designed by Alexander Porsche, the son of Ferry Porsche.

 Porsche 911 (1967) Porsche released the 911 Turbo in 1974 and the 911 Carrera 4 in 1988.




Porsche unveiled the new 911 Turbo two years later, following the rapid demand for a car under the Boxter concept at the Detroit Motor Show in 1993.

Porsche is currently owned by Volkswagen.
